Why a Livingroom

Because that’s where real conversation happens… where we can relax and be comfortable. Not a sanctuary where we just listen. Not a lobby where we’re polite. A livingroom… where the coffee is hot, nobody is performing, and we can finally say how it’s actually going... where we can get real.

I spent years in churches full of great people and good appearances. Everyone nodding, everyone doing fine, everyone alone in a crowd with their noise.

Growing up, our hair had to be perfect, our clothes had to be perfect, our behavior had to be perfect… and getting to that point every Sunday morning created chaos and anxiety, all to perfect the performance and appearances.

My desire for this space is to be a place to talk honestly about the challenges of our daily lives. A place where we don’t measure ourselves against others but rather speak openly about our own place on the path; each having something to offer and each learning from others.

What It Will Be

A simple discussion board. You, me, and other readers…asking questions about the various concepts presented in the book. Asking questions about how others deal with the trials we face in our daily lives… sharing both our challenges and victories. And carrying each others burdens the way we are told to…

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

There will be no ads, no algorithms deciding what you see, and nothing for sale… ever.

When The Door Opens

The target for the opening of the Livingroom is shortly before Christmas 2026, after the book has had time to reach hands and be read. A room like this needs some seats filled to be worth walking into. If you would like to be notified when it opens or take an early seat to help get it going, leave your email below.
